Subtrax sent me his entry into Skye’s remix competition and I am in love with it. It was actually chosen as one of the winners! Subtrax is only 17 years old and is already producing magical tracks like this. Be sure to stay tuned for more from this up and coming hopeful from London.
Wy-i is a producer which I discovered while randomly browsing youtube. Awesome production all around and even more awesome is taking Studio Ghibli samples and cutting them up with fresh beats. The final product is an audio orgasm. This track is from one of my favorite Ghibli movies - Howl’s Moving Castle and I think it’s one of Wy-i’s best.

British Producer Tipper is someone I have had my eye on since his 2008 release, Wobble Factor. Making his own style of electro and IDM infused breaks, Tipper has a unique flair in his music that can’t be missed.

Octopus Nebula, from Colorado, USA was formed in 2004. Members include Fleeb Thomas on bass guitar, Robin Bloch on guitar, John Safarik on keyboard, and Dan Raasch on the drums. Their sound is comprised of electronic, ambient, downtempo, breakbeats, rock, acid jazz, and psychedelic groove.
World fusion group Beats Antique releases a free remix EP of their song Cat Skillz. This remix is by Inspired Flight, an electro-infused hip hop duo based out of San Diego, CA. The combination of Beats Antique and Inspired Flight, along with vocals from Scarub of Living Legends provides us with a sublime track that is not to be missed.
